Los Feliz Colorful Kid's room

My client, a film director and a father of two little kids, wanted an amazing and a vibrant world of games for his children to live in. I believe that kids are influenced by colors since early childhood, and it’s the right moment to develop a sense of color. When I was a child my mom and grandmother would wear colorful dresses so that I would grow fond of colors. Eventually I’ve grown into a great fan of colors and you can see it in all my cinema and design projects. Things are getting complicated when you have to design a children’s room: numerous toys and colorful clothes are most often spread all over the room which gives you a feeling of messiness. To meet this challenge, I’ve chosen a riot of colors as a dominant feature, leaving no room for black and white layout. I’ve created a background which combines warm and cold colors and any color object in front of it would look seamless. Geometric stripes on the walls and a colorful square patterned carpet on the floor to frame the composition. I think I managed to create an atmosphere of joy and a holiday feeling for every day.
