City Promenade — Multifunctional complex

The complex is intended to activate the entire commercial and residential area of the city of Langen. . . The building complex is like an ecosystem consisting of various programs in which the programs complement and enliven each other. To achieve this, our concept envisages a three-part composition of the building. . . We have stacked three types of use on top of each other as three themed plateaus: . 1) City Work Activity – ground floor and 1st floor . 2) City Promenade – 2nd floor . 3) City Living – 03rd-06th floor . . 1) City Work Activity In this area, there are plans for: offices, co-working, commercial uses, as well as public programs such as a café, restaurant and bakery. This area offers a very good integration of state-public social services, such as kindergartens, post office, citizen services, etc. In this area we have provided good integration for all users, whether pedestrians or drivers. The garage has approximately 200 parking spaces. This area includes approximately 4,000 m2. . . 2) City Promenade A place to meet, relax and experience new things! This area forms an urban promenade with many small units such as: gallery, art coworking, café, yoga, fitness, doctor’s house, physiotherapy and pharmacy. Visitors are separated from the commercial area and experience a spectacular promenade with a bird’s eye view of the city. This area includes approximately 2,500 m2 including a garage and terrace. . . 3) City Living The third plateau envisages a program of hotels and hotel-like uses. The post-COVID period has had a big impact on how we live in the city, especially how we use hotels. This is one of the hardest-hit types of housing during the pandemic. Therefore, in our concept, we propose to expand and rethink these needs. We aim for stable and sustainable use of the building. In this area, we are considering various types of alternative accommodation types that are similar to hotel use. We propose to integrate such functions as boarding houses, accommodation for pensioners, and possibly for students. This area includes approximately 5,500 m2.
