he traditional project of the dining room in Brooklyn . ⠀ . The Customer is a big Jewish traditional family. They celebrate Shabbat every week and all the rest of the religious holidays in big friends' company. . ⠀ . That is why the main goal of the project was to increase the space. For that reason, we put away the partition walls between the living, dining room, and kitchen. Also, we added different lighting scenarios - as far as a natural and artificial ones. . ⠀ . The color palette is a mix of warm and cool colors - grey and beige, goldish with blue and green. The abstract painting in Mark Rothko's style contains all the shades used in the space. . . The style is a mix of Traditional and Jewish Ethno. The traditional features realize in . 1. Symmetry and simple geometrical forms, . 2. Texture of marble, . 3. Moldings (crown, skirt boards, wall panels, molding patterns on the ceiling). . 4. A lot of fabrics (the rug, classic complex curtains, cushions, cloth tablecloth). . . Jewish touch is in using . * hexagons and rhombs (on the mirrors, on the ceiling, on the fabrics, and furniture), . *paintings of Jewish artists (Herman Gold and Mark Rothko`s style), . *association with the Wailing wall by using similar wallpaper color and decorative plaster, . *Jewish symbols like an olive tree, pomegranate, shofar or ram's horn, menorah, and ritual dishes.
