Eclectic Apartment on Arbat

The contrasting play of black and white in this interior serves the main purpose—transforming a dull space into a residence filled with light and air. The living environment is formed by several zones: a large living room with a dining area, a cozy hallway, a bedroom, a bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a study. The golden tones of the walls and the white furniture in the living room, dining area, and spacious hall are accentuated by black details. The use of contrasting colors enhances the interplay of Art Deco and classical styles in the forms and finishes. The inclusion of Corinthian columns, sofa cushions with architectural prints, and an unusual monochrome stained-glass window gives the interior a sense of classical grandeur with a modern twist. The space is further expanded through the use of textured gypsum panels and large mirrors. The private area—a bedroom, study, and bathroom—forms a single block. The walls between the rooms were replaced with glass partitions decorated with fabric. The finishes in the private space are done in harmonious tones, creating a calming atmosphere for leisure. .
